Cosmetic Acupuncture (Traditional Chinese Facial Rejuvenation)

 

Cosmetic Acupuncture is part of the traditional Chinese approach to health and well being.  The facial rejuvenation treatment is over 3000 years old  

As part of Traditional Chinese Medicine   the use of acupuncture to reduce the affects of aging is mentioned in Chinese books written 1700 years ago.

 

 

The Traditional Chinese approach is holistic in that it recognises the effect of the internal organs on our facial appearance – imbalance of in Heart, Spleen, Lungs, Kidneys and Liver can all affect the face.  For this reason we also use small needles – normally in the arms and legs – to ensure a proper balance of energy in these organs as well as treating the face directly. 

       

                                        

A good flow of Qi (energy) and Blood to the face and head is also essential for the preservation of the health and beauty of the face.
